Here is the inspiration for my next series of work... I have had the amazing opportunity to attend a work shop about teaching AP Art. I have spent the last week working with and learning from a ton of amazing teachers and artists. We were instructed to create a small body of work using specific techniques, this has challenged me out of my comfort zone to try new ways of creating sticker art. I think the techniques I have learned have pushed me personally in my art and it has been a great experience.
This is really cool. The only art I ever really enjoyed was using an x-acto knife to carve off the black on those sheets that had the colors underneath the black covering, if you can figure out what I'm talking about. This kinda reminds me of that, but obviously you created both layers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you ever want to get a good look at white-tailed deer, there's hundreds of them on my parents farm in West Virginia, hah.
